Sad? Probably. I barely made it to one o'clock, (my top time choice for lunch) the excitement was so great. At one I trotted off to Love Park with book and iced coffee in hand. perfect. 80 degrees, sunny and a slight breeze...sitting on the wall, I read, laughing outloud for two chapters of peaceful bliss. fourty-five minutes and two chapters in, my bliss was cut short by a group of five rowdy adults. Just my luck, even though the entire length of retaining wall surrounding the park was empty this group chose to sit 5 feet away from me, smoking cigarettes and talking loudly. Obviously little me stood no chance of standing up to five people that have almost no consideration for others so I sat there for a minute to see if they'd actually read the newspapers they brought with them. Just then, an explosion. Brown water burst from the Love Park fountain as it shot twenty feet into the air, spewing water for the first time since fall. A ring of brown slowly worked its way to the outer edge of the pool and dissipated into the blue water. I felt the cool fountain water hit my face and quickly re-located to a bench off to the right of the LOVE sculpture. I read for fifteen more minutes of hilarious bliss (thank you chelsea handler). perfect lunch.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-36729509482119922302010-04-01T17:59:00.000-07:002010-04-01T18:00:08.849-07:00befores... and afters...I am preparing for the Trenton Arts Festival/Kenetic Sculpture Derby which is on May 22nd. I am excited and have been Painting making and refinishing things to sell at the show. I made a goal to paint 5 pictures a week, and in between spend time refinishing and making things. Currently I'm in the middle of re-finishing an old chest I used to use as a coffee table, an old shoe shine box and I'm making little coat hooks on reclaimed wood I've acquired (sometimes it pays to hoard crappy wood) and gotten from my own house. I'm really into it and looking forward to this show...big time. Its been so long since I've made such lofty goals for myself...I'm such a sucker for making goals and fulfilling them. So here are some pictures of my works in progress, and a couple finished things. its all soooo exciting.
I've absolutely hated it every single day I have lived in this house and since I have recently stumbled upon a large amount of free time I concentrated a good amount on working on my room, finally. It was a fair amount of work since I've started, new windows, new walls, new floor. The last 3 weeks I had to finish putting in 3 feet of uncompleted flooring, a new soffit, spackle and sand the entire room and paint. I hung new curtains, I cleaned out my closet all my drawers and now it looks pretty good. Its not quite complete because it needs moldings and window sills and is going to cost a little more than I can afford at the moment...but for now I am very happy with my bedroom. onto the next project I go!
I have come to realize this week that I've been neglecting myself for awhile. I haven't been doing things I need to do, I wouldn't say I really wanted to do the things I needed to do, or maybe I just didn't realize I wanted to do them. At any rate my bedroom has been making me really miserable probably since they day I moved into my house. It used to be really really bad and then slowly its gotten better...two and a half years slowly. I had decided that my bedroom was going to be the last thing I worked on when I moved into my house (that hasn't really worked out), besides the kitchen. The two extra bedrooms were the most important for me to finish because I rent them out so those have been done for quite awhile. nothing else is really 'done' but sort of in limbo.
I was sort of forced into working on my bedroom last october when my parents moved away...before they moved my dad decided that he had to help me replace ALL the windows in my house before they moved, so over the course of 4 days all the windows were taken out and replaced. it was a messy messy ordeal and pretty much made every room in my entire house a construction zone. All the walls around every window were rotten and needed to be replace...thus began my bedroom process. thats been going on for a year.
I put in a new floor, but i didn't finish it. I replaced the front a wall about 6 months ago but haven't painted it because I had to finish fixing another wall that I attempted to fix 2 years ago. I finally finished this wall I started 2 years ago this weekend. I had to take the entire thing out and put it back in....it took two hours...so today I got home from work and decided I needed to really get this done. I plastered and spackled the wall...which took like no time, so I embarked on finishing the floor. I'm not completely done with the floor, I have a couple rows left and need to rip out the molding and replace an outlet tomorrow but that shouldn't take more than an hour. All in all this process probably only took me 4 hours and I had really forgotten how much I enjoyed working on my house. Its seriously been so long since I really worked on it. I mean, I finished my bathroom a couple months ago but that was NOT fun for some reason. this was. I guess I just like mindless repetitive things like putting in a wood floor by hand...or maybe I'm just excited by the fact that soon my bedroom will be done and I won't feel like I'm living in a disgusting mess like I have for the last 2.5 years. Its exciting to see something getting done for the first time in awhile and I'm glad I'm finally actually doing it. so. yeah. go me.
(yes I know I take a lot of pictures of myself) but its really happening. I started 3 days ago...and I've been keeping it up. Honestly it isn't that hard. I officially want to start on my birthday, but I've started early...maybe I'll come up with a more clever set up in a couple weeks from now....maybe I'll just keep my tripod in the same part of my room....maybe I'll move around place...who knows...I have a whole year to figure it out I guess. I can't wait to wait myself age, one picture at a time...a year from now.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-29331866532047841712009-09-02T06:08:00.000-07:002009-09-02T06:19:02.925-07:00for like.everSummer is almost officially over. I find it interesting that as soon as labor day began its approach the weather cooled about 20 degrees and the humidity completely disappeared. It hasn't been getting up past 80 degrees lately which is prefect weather in my opinion. You could wear a light jacket at night, but you don't have to.

Last night was a 'free night' for me. No roller derby practice, no plans with anyone, it was nice. Unfortunately I needed to take a trip to target and homedepot to buy some much needed supplies like cat litter, and corner bead for my walls. Thankfully this trip to two stores took less than an hour of my time - and I was a good shopper and didn't buy anything I didn't really need at target. on a whim I decided that I was going to buy some wood to make shelves in my kitchen. nothing fancy, just some wide pieces of pine. My kitchen is extremely small and living with 2 other people that love to buy tons of food is proving to be difficult sometimes...

I purchased a really long piece of 9inch wide pine and went home. I didn't really PLAN on making the shelves last night, but I got bored cleaning my basement and decided that I would. I cut them out and hung them in less than an hour, man I'm good. I started painting them last night. I decided on white because thats what color my horrid kitchen cabinets are...I figured I should keep it consistent even though I'm a hater of anything white. I don't imagine that I'll use these shelves for anything useful in the kitchen rather I think I may use them as display for all my neat little antique kitchen gadgets....we'll see. pictures to follow.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-36312895547800327172009-09-01T09:04:00.001-07:002009-09-01T09:20:07.444-07:00september.Boy am I sleepy. The kids in the park near my house have been super rowdy this week. I've had to call the police several times late at night (early morning) to complain. I am happy that school is starting on tuesday, unless it hasn't already.

Philly has been super rainy all summer, its been nice because I haven't had to water my garden like I used to...its been bad because my basement has been flooding, not terribly, but there have been little pools of water. I finally had to break down and buy a dehumidifier this weekend. My dad (the penny pincher) tried to discourage me from doing this, or at least buying a used one...but no one here is getting rid of theirs, and once I saw black mold growing downstairs I knew it was high time to fork over 150 dollars. It was either the money, or the smelly wet moldy basement that is making everything thats metal in their basement rust. I think I made the right choice.

I have been intensely working on my home improvement, I am right now working on finishing my half bath downstairs...its been in limbo for half a year since it was put in. I can either blame this fact on me not having a lot of free time and finally kicking it into gear, or possibly because my parents are coming to visit in a couple weeks and I don't want to get scolded really badly about not doing anything. I'm sure its a combination of the two.

In an interesting turn of events the houses a door down on either side of me have been purchased by young women. My block is starting to become gentrified. I sustainable fish co op is opening across the street - luckily this is all frozen fish or I would be really worried about the smell. there are also 4 other homes on my block for sale at the moment so I'm crossing my fingers that I get new neighbors. apparently the houses on my block that just sold went for 180k. They are NOT as nice as my house (will be, ha) I bought my house in june 2007 for 130k. I think that this is good news. I suppose I've probably put close to 10-15k into it so far. MAYBE. Thats all my 'big news' for now.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-75332029942027646962009-08-13T07:42:00.000-07:002009-08-13T07:53:45.152-07:00roller skating with seth green?Being on Philly Roller Girls holds some interesting opportunities on occasion from what I can gather. Robot chicken, if you don't know - is a show on adult swim which is on sunday nights on comedy central. Anyway, as a promotion robot chicken was driving across the country promoting with a roller skating party. They came to philly and asked some of the philly roller girls to come as special guests. I don't really watch robot chicken anymore (I used to) and I don't really like seth green (i never have) but I did get credit for practice for going to this, and it sounded interesting. Becky and I and about 20 other girls got put on a special list to get in early. The line outside for this event was pretty insane, hundreds of people were lined up to get in, and I'm pretty sure most of them didn't. We got to cut up front and enter the event an hour and a half early.
I saw seth green, he's really short and he has a trashy looking girlfriend. He was skating around and people were taking pictures of him. I guess its pretty cool that he'd be mingling amongst a bunch of weirdo people that are obsessed with him...by default you have to be a weirdo for liking seth green in my opinion.
I don't have any pictures of him as I don't own a point and shoot camera anymore...and the night was rather lame. The most fun of the night is when me and the other PRG girls whipped around the rink weaving around all the fans that were there pissing them off and pretty much clearing the rink because we were bothering people...we eventually got yelled at and it wasn't fun anymore so me and becky left and watched some good old LOST on tv.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-796772059384245772009-08-11T12:07:00.000-07:002009-08-11T12:23:05.084-07:00this and that.I am going to try and post on this blog more than I have been. (good luck to me.)
I guess my problem is that I don't feel like I really have that much to write about that is of much interest.
I have been procrastinating on my house lately, I've been so busy with going to the beach, camping, painting and roller derby. ah! I think September holds more promise for house fixing than August does.
I have been spending a lot of my free time - which there isn't a lot of tending to my garden. I have been overloaded with cucumbers, and think I'm going to try and can some this week, maybe tonight if I have time. My tomatoes are starting to roll in like crazy. I ended up tearing up my cherry tomato plant because I just don't like them - they're always rotting before i eat them. The grass in my back yard is flourishing even though its constantly getting peed on by my dog cylar. I suppose that this is due to all the rain we've been getting. There have been consistent strong storms two to three times a week. I am so sick of the rain! not because I don't like the rain, I do...but when it pours buckets it starts to flood my poor basement. Though this flooding basement is good incentive to clean and organize it.
Boring.
In other news I think i will be able to pick up my falcon soon from where it has been stored in NJ for the past 9 months. I miss seeing it and driving it. I have been having quite a time getting the title transferred and getting antique plates for it, but i think in a handful more days these things will be in my hands. I can't wait to show off my car and get a garage in the city.
can't wait.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-52777460391749196832009-05-08T06:35:00.000-07:002009-05-08T08:16:35.188-07:00whoaits been a long long time since I posted in my blog, I am bad! but its ok, I've been keeping my real life journal up to date with the boring details of my life.
sooo whats happened. I went on a fun visit to california where my sister lives. I was there almost a whole week...we did lots of things, and it was really pretty there...cold, but pretty.

my doggy cylar had some weird bumps on his skin before I went to california, and some odd swollen red eyes - which he was being treated for. when I returned home it was out of control! I took him to the vet and they had no idea what was going on. I finally took him to another vet a week ago and they did a biopsy and i think they figured out what the problem was. They said he has something called lymphohistiocytic dermatitis but they said its really rare, and they're not sure yet how to treat it. My 'new' vet is trying to speak with other specialists to figure out how to treat him. He seems to be getting better on his own at this point though.

I started playing roller derby again...I had flirted with rejoining a team for about 2 years now, and my girlfriend becky finally convinced me to join her league. Its fun to go to practice twice a week after work and get some exercise with a group. I keep ending up with welts all over my body though...which isn't that big of a deal, it just looks horrible. I'm really having fun skating again though. I had forgotten how much I liked it and I've been getting a lot better at it as well. I still have a long way to go though, I never fully relearned how to skate since I broke my leg the last time, so my leg muscles seem really weak at this point.

I got a new saddle on my bike. I've had my bike for two years now. I estimate that my old saddle ate through at least 8 pairs of pants in the 2 years I've had it. after I blew the inner thigh of the last pair I decided that it was time to get a leather saddle so I'd stop ruining my pants so fast...not to mention my old saddle was staring to get little holes all over... of course I chose a Brooks Saddle
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 166px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lie1seU55pg/SgRMgqbMAbI/AAAAAAAAADQ/DPBTsFuZI-o/s320/resampleimg.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5333471982741356978" />

I've had the saddle for about 2 months now, I am very pleased with it. its much more comfortable than my old saddle...it was a little pricey at 85 dollars, but well worth it since I ride my bike at least 10 miles a day. good choices good choices.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-90277054590132485552009-02-05T19:43:00.001-08:002009-02-05T19:43:42.413-08:00Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-22722083968633338602008-12-10T06:41:00.000-08:002008-12-10T07:39:43.391-08:00adult skate.I went to adult skate last night, I've been going to this particular skate since last year, but I haven't gone in a reaaallly long time. I try to explain to people what adult skate is like, but I don't think anyone really 'realizes' what adult skate means.

me at adult skate wearing my holiday sweatshirt my mom made me as a kiddie.

I guess my usual explanation of adult skate is this: Most the people there are over the age of 65, and no one is usually under the age of 50 (besides us). All the people dress up in their 'outfits' The men wear club shirts, or nice 'skating pants' the women wear 'skating outfits.' You know, like the ones they wear in the Olympic ice skating competitions? There are soooo many couples skates, and waltzes that only 1/3 of the people there usually do...There is live organ music, usually all the same songs play for example sweet caroline, build me up buttercup and jeramiah was a bullfrog. Really though, this night can't be explained, you kind of have to just go...plus us 'young people' make the 'adults' really happy. I mean, wasn't THAT bad, but my bike gloves are much too thin for 27 degrees + wind. I think I may have to make a switch to thicker gloves if I wish to continue riding my bike in the cold. So after not being able to feel my fingers for the last 2 miles of my morning and evening ride yesterday I opted for the train today...not really because of cold, for some reason its 50 degrees today...but its supposed to rain for the next 3 days...I'm kind of disappointed for the rain.

I've been a busy bee lately. My etsy site is empty and I've been knitting a lot..I knit a hat or bandana every evening...I have quite a pile adding up. I finished my living room...I rearranged my furniture and bought a new giant tv. Though after almost 2 weeks without television, its sort of lost its luster to me.

Tonight I'm going rollerskating at 'adult night' adult night is actually 'really old people night' me and a couple of friends go and and skate around with people probably 65+ years old. There is live organ music...its december so I'm going to take a gander and say there will only be christmas music tonight. bummer.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-959671547885879712008-11-24T12:38:00.000-08:002008-11-24T12:43:45.005-08:00no tv!Its been a rough month or two. first someone tore out all my plants and threw them all over my car along with some food products, then someone crashed into my car causing over 5k in damage, then i got bit by a dog and had to go to the emergency room and finally my tv died last sunday. I've been without a tv for a week now. it kind of sucks, which i find interesting because I went for 4 years without watching TV pretty much while I was in college. I guess thats what free cable will do to you. But I've been keeping pretty productive. cleaning, rearranging the living room, painting spackling... I ordered a really nice TV at a low price through my work, but its taking some time to get here. I just got a call that it will arrive sometime friday afternoon. I guess it'll be another week until I get to watch TV on a really big screen! not THAT big though. I'm a little excited, isn't that sad?Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-24087368051603068902008-11-22T17:12:00.001-08:002008-11-22T17:12:25.567-08:00its trueI grew up in the midwest. Illinois in fact, some people don't remember that and think i grew up in ohio...but in fact the first 11 years of my life were spent in Glen Carbon, IL. My illinois home was the only home I lived at that wasn't secluded in the woods. We actually lived in a development which was nice. No one in Illinois had pools at all and today I fondly remembered how when I was about 4 or 5 my dad brought home a cattle trough and put it in our driveway for me my sister and brother to 'go swimming' of course at the time I thought this was AMAZING. but now as I think of this memory I realize how ridiculously trashy this must have seemed to our neighbors. and just so you know, yes I have pictures to prove this, and yes my parents still have the cattle trough.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-66812710401641400982008-11-03T06:10:00.001-08:002008-11-03T06:10:56.756-08:00wheres the crack?Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-73251374519379423772008-10-28T07:16:00.001-07:002008-10-28T07:18:09.330-07:00t-rex head just needs paint.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_lie1seU55pg/SQcfEa_NzWI/AAAAAAAAACA/ECdfwDVqtx8/s320/n1258680877_149645_2782.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262208850430119266" />Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-22948028855645597732008-10-27T10:45:00.000-07:002008-10-27T10:56:23.797-07:00weenHallween has always been my favorite holiday. I think theres only been one year of my life that I didn't dress up in some strange home made costume that either my mom made or I made from scratch. The last 3 years I've attended a ridiculous halloween party in the suburbs where there is a giant bon fire and people dress up in over the top home made costumes. the first year I went my friends all dressed up as ghost busters characters. They even made the car, and someone was a giant marshmallow man. The car was life sized and had working lights on it. Thats pretty ridiculous.

This year I've just been so so busy that I had no motivation to even think of what I wanted to be. Last year I was a shark, which was an amazing costume I threw together in a few hours and probably spent 10 dollars making. There was no way in my head I could think of anything to make a better costume than last year, but leave it to me to wait until the last minute and think something ridiculous up. Last night I started working on a t-rex costume. I made the head out of one cardboard box, and a couple brown paper bags so far its taken about 4 hours to make but I'm almost done. I think I'll be able to finish it tonight by adding a little more paper and painting it. then tomorrow I'll start sewing the costume together. Thankfully there is a really really dirt cheap fabric store in philly so I'll probably have a costume for under 10 dollars again this year. I'm so frugal.

Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-81008929187878223042008-10-22T09:40:00.000-07:002008-10-22T09:52:11.791-07:00happy birthday to me.My birthday week started out to my car getting hit while it was parked front of my house. It was 8pm on Monday night, I heard a loud THUMP - which I thought was probably a piece of drywall I had propped up against the wall just falling down, but I went outside to check. there was nothing out there, but my neighbor said he saw a mini van speeding down the street and told me to check my car. So I looked at saw this.

Sigh. I called the police and filed a report, found out its going to cost me a 250 deductible to fix- not too bad.

Last night I went to bed and then heard my roomie knock on my door. She told me that there was a bunch of water in the basement. I guess the pipe fell out of the kitchen drain and all the water was just pouring into the floor. It was 12am and I spent and hour vacuuming up water and moving things around. nothing really got ruined other than some old rugs but I think they can be salvaged. I wasn't going to go to work today because I thought I needed to spend more time drying things, but it wasn't so bad in the basement.

I am going to go home after lunch though because I have to fix the pipe and then I have to take my car in for an estimate at the shop I'm going to in Media. What a birthday!

My newish roommate Frank told me he couldn't believe how calm I was when all these things happened the past two days. He told me he would have been freaking out. I just told him that I was used to things like this happening to me and I 'wasn't really surprised' by them. I also told him that I don't have emotions...but not really, I just am not the type that freaks out over things that happen. I don't really drive my car much so its not going to really really effect me much getting it fixed...and the basement flood didn't really ruin anything and now the floor is really really clean...so...sure its upsetting to have someone hit your car and run...and it sucks to have to spend time cleaning up the basement when you'd rather be sleeping, but worse things have happened and I probably will forget about most of it anyway.

At any rate I did see this clip of small town values to cheer me up.

Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-14884867900246595462008-09-26T12:19:00.001-07:002008-09-26T12:19:53.517-07:00inkraftwetrustKristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-11704823277557760042008-09-26T12:06:00.001-07:002008-09-26T12:15:38.239-07:00Palien.I found out about an hour ago that Sarah Palin is in Philly and she's going to the Irish Pub, which is a really douchey bar down the street from my work. I'm sad to report I went there a couple weeks ago for a going away party for a coworker, had one beer and left.
I find it rather interesting that Palin is HERE because Philly is ridiculously liberal. A bunch of boys I know through a friend I went to college with and who I now work with are going to shout things at her wearing t-shirts they printed themselves. If you'd like to see these gems feel free to look.

I'm sure there will be unlawful arrests of people for yelling lude things at her as usual. Instead of wasting my time on sarah palin, I think I'm just going to go to the Memphis taproom tonight and drink a few beers and watch the debate.

In other news I bought a different sarah palin shirt today because it made me laugh and I have not yet seen anyone wearing it. It came with other free things. yay free.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-32472909435793732862008-09-20T00:05:00.001-07:002008-09-20T00:14:40.269-07:00a haunting.Me and my friend Bill used to avidly watch "ghost shows" together while we painted pictures. lately I've been avidly watching a show called A Haunting on the discovery channel. I makes me wonder dumb things occasionally, like maybe if there are so many shows about ghosts that they could possibly be real. I keep these thoughts in the back of my head, though I haven't watched any 'ghost shows' in a couple months.

The other night, say wednesday night I was laying in bed watching six feet under on my computer. I was dozing off and felt a thump in the middle of my bed, about where my knees were. it really freaked me out, especially when I looked over and saw cylar asleep on his bed no where near my bed. I started dozing off again and felt another THUMP. I was secretly very disturbed by this, but tried to ignore it. The third time it happened i decided that it was time for cylar to come up and lay with me in my bed. I eventually fell asleep but kept occasionally feeling my bed move in the middle of the night...cylar still laying there passed out.

I suppose I woke up around 4 or 5 that night and had to go to the bathroom so I opened my bedroom door and out runs the cat I'm fostering. I later found that she ripped open my box spring and burrowed inside...I really don't like cats, at all.Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33550562.post-46157836889955761472008-09-12T21:03:00.001-07:002008-09-12T21:13:06.987-07:00bathroom smathroom.I finally painted my bathroom the other night. Its not very bright in my cubical, which is surrounded by windows. Unfortunately its also supposed to rain tomorrow which is going to stink! My friends Abby and Mike are getting married outside in the PA suburbs, I guess thats what you get when you have a wedding during the highest point of hurricane season. We were supposed to camp out in the yard tomorrow night too, but if its storming I think that I'll just go home to go to sleep.

Nothing much new or exciting. Last night I helped my friend Bill do some gardening at a rich couples house. I mowed the lawn with a push mower, and cleaned up the flower beds a bit. I think they own 3 houses all together, and this one is really nice. Its a carriage house of a giant mansion - which are now two separate properties. The house is in Mount Airy which is a really ritzy area 20 minutes outside Center City. I would totally live there someday, it sort of reminds me of where my parents used to live in New Jersey.

After this I returned home and took Cylar for a walk, we found out that the park I take him to was closed up. It wasn't really a park though, just a huge fenced in area that has a hole in the fence. I'll probably just start taking him somewhere else that has an open area now and toss the ball. He'll never run off if there is a ball or frizbee involved.

now for your viewing pleasure...
Kristin Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101431486783978303noreply@blogger.com0
